Quiz Worx exists to share Jesus with kids everywhere, primarily through performing creative live shows in schools, churches and communities all around Australia. We are committed to raising up more workers to share the Good News with kids and providing them with the training and foundation they’ll need for a lifetime of presenting the Good News to kids (and adults) in creative, engaging and faithful ways.
A Quiz Worx Internship is for people who love Jesus and want to share Jesus with kids in a fun, engaging and faithful way. Over two years (typically) you will receive intensive, practical training in puppetry and upfront skills, be trained to teach SRE/RI, and learn how to write and deliver Biblical kids’ talks that aren’t lame!
But there's more to it than just training. Once your basic training is complete, you will be sent out with experienced team members to perform shows in schools, churches and communities all over Australia.
You will be based in either our Yagoona, NSW or Helensvale, QLD office and have opportunities to teach SRE/RI in a local school/s.
During Covid-19 we turned our attention to creating kids' talk videos and other resources to help churches, families and schools share Jesus with kids in their context. As we emerge from Covid, we are committed to continuing making videos and resources where possible (so far this has mainly been our Easter and Christmas videos). Interns will be a part of this and join us either in front of, or behind the camera (or both) to produce Quiz Worx Home & School Delivery, which is currently serving churches, families & schools in over 100 countries.
Interns will work up to full-time (minimum 3 days a week).
This is a support-raising role and you will be tasked with raising 100% of your remuneration each year. Quiz Worx will provide training and support to help you in this.
